In 2021, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) commissioned Fleet Forum to incorporate fleet waste providers in their existing Quality, Social & Environmental (QSE) Assessment procedure.
This procedure, as a part of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), defines ICRC rules focusing on quality, social and environmental (QSE) assessment and Audit activities and related Corrective Action Plan (CAP) management. The QSE assessment can be used for all companies that are supporting/providing products and/or services related to fleet waste.
The attached excel file contains guidance how to assess fleet waste providers. The attached pdf aims to provide the critical questions that need to be asked during a QSE assessment. These questions are based on the results of the environmental study ‘Sustainable Management of ICRC’s Garage Waste”.
It is recommended to conduct the assessment together with a Quality Manager or Auditor.
